T&T Martial Arts is a family-owned business located in two dojangs on the east and west side of Cleveland. Master Ted Beltavski, 6th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and 1st degree black belt in Judo studiedunder Master Moo Wan Kim. Additionally, Master Ted is the Founder of the Rhondo system of grappling and submission.
Our Class leaders are all adult black belts who have been trained and tested directly under Master Moo Hwan Kim and Master Ted.
Ted and Tina Beltavski began studying under Grandmaster Moo H. Kim on September 19th, 1990 at Kim’s East Side, Lyndhurst School. At that time, Tina was completing her degree in vocal performance at The Cleveland Institute of Music. Her voice teacher wanted her to improve her technique and vocal stamina through exercise. So, Tina and Ted decided they would train together, and chose Martial Arts as the method to do so. Ted, working as an engineer, had long been interested in the Martial Arts, and convinced Tina to give it a try.
Three years later, they both earned their Cho Dan. Through the next fifteen years the Beltavski Family welcomed four children: Maria, TJ, Luca, and Gabriel are already well on their way to becoming the next generation of Martial Artists.
In June of 2000, T&T Martial Arts, Ltd. was formed with a humble idea and two students. Now, with hundreds of students, and multiple locations, T&T has built a strong foundation through a basic, yet fundamental training regimen, which focuses on student accountability and personal success.
